from Virtual Manufacturing System Lab

We are a technological venture company, formed in August 2000 by KAIST Industrial Engineering professor Byoung K. Choi and his alumni from the Virtual Manufacturing System Lab. Businesses are competing limitlessly in a global economic environment. In particular, domestic manufacturers are being intensely pursued by developing countries starting with China, and the improvement of competitive power through the informatization of the manufacturing industry is the only alternative for a business to survive.

We exert ourselves to supply a solution for the informatization of the manufacturing industry. We treat developers participating in the development of solutions not as employees but as partners, we actively contribute to the development of the company, and we wish to set a business culture that can improve an individual’s competitive power through continuous self-improvement.

Success Story

VMS has successfully provided smart factory solutions to Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, SK Hynix, LG Display and Hankook Tire. MOZART simplifies complex manufacturing process with virtual manufacturing simulation model, accurately predicts production plan and meets due dates. Therefore, the level of accuracy in production increased by more than 95 percent and reduces the cycle time and work in progress (WIP) by 20 to 30 percent based on reports by the customers. Our business leading customers own 95.6% of DRAM market, and 63% of large TFT LCD shipment market share.
